Dan Kennedy is author of the national best seller "Rock On" and the widely-acclaimed "Loser Goes First". He's a longstanding contributor at McSweeney's dot net and regular host of The Moth's storySLAMs in New York City. His work appears in GQ Magazine, and his humor essays have been anthologized in "Created in Darkness by Troubled Americans: The Best of McSweeney's Humor Category", "Love is a Four Letter Word", "Our Noise: The Story of Merge Records", and other publications.

He lives in New York City and performs reading-and-speaking gigs on stages as nearby as East 3rd Street, as far away as Western Australia, and everywhere in between.
