This will be it, really. If you’ve missed the Rock On events over the last 30 days, there will be one last hurrah and then I am locked away into the cell from whence I came, writing remaining GQ Pieces and an HBO pilot script. I will surface pale and fat, likely next fall or possibly for a U.K. event or two in summer. So come out Tuesday if you missed the Rock On gigs so far. They’re recording it live for an iTunes Podcast, so its your chance to scream a heated message about socialism that will reach the masses via digital download. There won’t be books for sale during event, I don’t think, since Apple and Random House are all about rolling out the audio book at this shindig. So if you’ve got a copy of Rock On or Loser Goes First, etc. that you want signed, bring it out.
This should be a lot of fun and a lot of laughs — I hear there may even be the opportunity to unveil somewhat innapropriate things from my laptop onto a huge screen — anway, hope to see you there for this one last stab. It should be a blast.
